Paula & Natasya came in last today. Fortunately, they were not eliminated. Yeayyy!!! I like them. Paula is so cute :) She reminds me of a friend of mine, who i have not met since 2003. Thanks to the www, we still keep in touch. Anyways, at one point, they were at second place but somehow they fumbled and the other teams overtook them.

My favourite team would be Marc & Rovilson. I think they've been working so hard and they deserve to win. Collin and Adrian are good too. But just not good enuf la. May the best team win.

I'm currently reading I Am Muslim. So far ok la. My first book of a Malaysian author. Before this ada jugak, tapi bahasa melayu la kan. I'm so looking forward to read this book coz amy & zid gave a good review. I'm a little skeptical thou. Well just gimme a couple of weeks and i'll give my own review.

Alif is adjusting well with his little brother. But sometimes ada jugak la buat aksi2 terlampau. I know why, he feels boring. Maklum la anak manja mama dia. But now since hanim is busy with the baby, he has to share lah. That's why now i always make sure that i spend some quality time with him. Just to make sure he knows that we still love him.

.

Anyways, last week dia ada buat lawak. My wife was arranging the baby's bakul and alif was there too. He keeps kacauing my wife until she got so geram and marah him. His reply was ' Alif bukan Ah Long, Alif nak tolong jee....'. ahahahah....kids nowadays....my wife yang nak marah terus tak jadi marah....:D

Happy Birthday Mama!!!

0830 hrs > Alif Hafi goes to school
.
First day of school. He was ok when we reached the school. Happy as always. But then, some of the kids started to cry, and this upset him. By 9 am, he cannot tahan anymore, he started to sob. But we were there to console him. By 9.30 we left for the hospital, we didnt say goodbye thou, lest he will cry. So off we went.....

1000 hrs > Doctor's Office
.
'U are 3 days overdue rite?'
'Yup'
'Ok, i think u should rest la'
'Ok doc, when should we come again?'
'No, no....u should rest here, in the ward, i need to monitor u'
'oh?...ok...(sib baik dah bawak baju)'

1130 hrs > Phone call from Opah
.
'Mak dah amik Alif dah, dia nangis tadi'
'Lerr...apsal mak?'
'Dia terkencing dalam seluar...'
'Hahhh?!!! (sian anak aku), dia tak bgtau teacher ke?'
'Dia kata dah bgtau, tapi teacher sibuk layan budak nangis'
'Oooo...patut la, takpe la jap lagi saya balik kejap amik barang anim'
'Ok'

I told my wife about Alif, we laughed but at the same time we regret we couldnt be there. At this point anim was undergoing the CTG test (dont ask me what CTG is, never got the chance to ack the doc. I only know that it's a test to detect the contraction and baby's heartbeat).

1300 hrs > From ISH to home
.
I left mama at Ipoh Specialist and went back home to get some of her stuffs. Most importantly, i wanted to check on Alif. He was ok, he told me he cried because he wet his pants. He told me the exact story that Opah had told. He did informed his teacher but teacher was bz. I told him it was ok and he's a big boy and not to be afraid. Then i told about mama. He wanted to go with me, but i told him that he should wait until the baby is out. he said ok.

1400 hrs > Maternity Ward
.
When i got there, mama told me that the doctor had to induce her to facilitate the delivery. Now we had to wait.

1500 hrs > Maternity Ward
.
The contractions were rapid and unbearable. Mama seemed to be soooooo in pain. I felt helpless. I couldnt do anything. I can only offer her my hand so that she could squeeze and told her to take long breath.

1530 hrs > Maternity Ward
.
Mama said she cannot tahan anymore, i called the nurse, she came and gave mama a jab. Some sort of pain killer. She said the time is near and the opening is complete. Mama was transfered to the OT. I went in too. I wore the coat and mask. Then i kissed her on the forehead and told her 'abah ampunkan segala dosa mama'....

1545 hrs > Labor Room
.
The doctor came and immediately started the procedure....

Midway.....
.
'the baby is getting weaker!!'....
'u gotta help your baby ok....doctor will help ok....now push harder'
.
.........
.........
.
'this is taking too long..., nurse prepare for c section...'
'azmah, u have to help doctor and your baby ok, just a little bit more...now pushhhhh'
.
i was there beside mama, i couldnt do anything except encourage her to push. helpless....

1612 > Labor Room
.
'Baby's Out!!!!...it's a boy'
.
It was a relief. A 3.59 kg baby boy. A BIG boy. Doctor needed to use vacumm. Once the head is out the whole body followed. They put the baby on mama's belly. Mama was so exhausted she only touched him. The nurse then put him on the container and called me. I went and kissed him. Did the Azan. I stared him for almost 5 minutes and then the nurse told me to wait in the room.

1630 hrs > On the phone
.
I was so happy. Called the parents and SMSed everybody.

1700 hrs > Room 105
.
Mama was sent to the room. Baby followed a few minutes later. Mama was still drowsy and exhausted. She slept for a while and after that breastfed the baby.

1800 hrs > Room 105
.
The family came. Everybody was excited. Alif was excited too. He couldnt keep his hands off the baby.

.
So that was what happenned on the 3rd of January 2008. Full of excitements and adventures eh. Btw, the baby's name is Akif Wafi bin Azrul Sani. He shares the same birthday with his mother. Mama was discharged on Saturday, but Akif's still in the hospital thou, he got G6PD, which leads to jaundice, dunno when he could come home. Should be ok within a day or two.
