During the weekend, Mama, Alif & I went to the movie. We watched this:

I gave it 3.5 stars. Somehow I feel that The Joker overshadows the Dark Knight himself. No wonder the people on E! are screaming Oscar for the late Heath Ledger. He did extremely well. This Joker is not like the one played by Jack Nicholson, he is much much darker and eviler than before.

This time around, you'd also find out the birth of Two Face and Commissioner Gordon. The down thing about this movie is that the heroin tak cun la. I think they should have chosen another heroin. I mean a prettier one la.

And if you plan to watch this movie, be prepared physically. Becoz it's a 2 hours 15 min movie. Alif got bored after 90 minutes. After that he started asking a lot of questions about the movie. Everytime he asked, the whole cinema would hear him. He got such a big voice, I tell you. I had to syyyy him a couple of time. eheheheh.

Anyways, I oso bought some DVDs. Please do not ask me the authenticity of the DVDs ok. You all should know by now :). The DVDs are:

I think M. Night Syamalan has lost a little bit of his touch. I used to love his work i.e Sixth Sense, The Village, The Signs. But this movie and the previous one (Lady in the Water) are a bit lame for his standard. But still, it's not that bad. I think 3 star would suffice.

These guys are dirty as ever. Never watch this movie with your kids. Unless if you are those people who are really open about sex & drugs :) This movie will never reach our cinemas, I can guarantee you that. Overall, okay la, if you like slapstick and nonsense stuffs. You'll like this movie. At the end of the movie, they show a little bit of Red Flag District. ehehheeh...what? you don't know what Red Flag District is? Go google at your own risk :))

The most popular Guru this time around. I've been watching this movie for 45 minutes. So far I'm not so impressed, I think it's hard not to associate Mike Myers with Austin Powers. I could only see Austin Powers and not Guru Pitka. But still it's funny.
